Katie grew up on the East Coast and found her love for the outdoors her first time camping in the White Mountains as a kid. Her passions for adventure lead her to Northern Maine where she spent her summers living in a tent and guiding Class IV-V whitewater. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Tourism Management with a Concentration in Adventure, Sport & Nature-Based Tourism at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Looking for her next great adventure she headed west to Big Sky, Montana where she spent her winters as a Professional Ski Patroller and a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT. When she isn’t guiding, she enjoys spending as much time as she can hiking, biking, rafting, canyoneering & skiing.Trips Guided by Katie Gugliotta:
