Amy grew up on the side of a mountain near Anchorage, AK where she developed a deep-seated passion for all things wild, rugged and slightly dangerous. After many childhood excursions with her family, Amy began traveling on her own and working in adventure travel as a consultant and guide in the San Juan Islands, the Greater Yellowstone region and Costa Rica.
Amy has a B.S. in Biology from Montana State University – Billings where she is involved in a long-term research project involving Montana’s only scorpion species, the Northern Scorpion. When not in the office, Amy will most likely be backpacking, fly fishing, or looking for snakes and scorpions.
