Maun, Botswana (MUB)/Livingstone, Zambia (FLLI)

Day 1 & 2: Maun / Seba Camp
Maun / Seba Camp
Meals Included:  B, L, D
Overnight: Seba Camp Camp

Upon arrival in Maun you will be met by a Wilderness Safaris representative who will help you board your flight departing for Seba Camp, named after one of the elphants historically released from nearby Abu Camp.

Set in an ancient riverine forest, Seba Camp offers accommodation overlooking a perennial river that is home to a family of hippo. This family-friendly, colorful camp offers you the unique opportunity to introduce your children to the African wild.

There are 8 individually decorated en-suite tents each with a private deck. Two family suites with private plunge pool, sandpit and ‘tree-house’ offer hours of entertainment for the children.

For those wishing to relax, the raised dining and lounge area, library or swimming pool area all comprise the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon.

  • Activities range from:
  • Day & night game drives
  • Guided walks (on request)
  • Seasonal boating
  • Mokoro rides

Home to elephant and plains game, Seba is a wilderness wonderland waiting to be explored!

About Seba Camp
Seba Camp, blending beautifully into the ancient riverine forest of majestic hardwood trees, has 8 spacious tents, each with en-suite bathroom and a private deck with vistas of the lagoon.

There are 2 family suites: one has an upstairs lounge with a pull-out sleeper couch, while the other has a loft room suitable for older children or adults.

There’s also an elevated deck with its own small pool and sandpit. Well-lit paths lead to the communal dining area, bar, lounge-library and a secluded swimming pool.

Day 3 - 5: Savuti Camp
Savuti Camp
Meals Included:  B, L, D
Overnight: Savuti Camp

Mid-morning on Day 3, you will be transferred from Seba Camp to the Abu Airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Chobe Airstrip.

Upon arrival at Chobe, you will be picked up and taken to Savuti Camp, a birder’s paradise. Set deep in the wilderness on the prosperous Savute Channel, Savuti Camp is surrounded by flowing water and high concentrations of wildlife.

For many years the channel was dry; however since the waters returned in 2008, abundant game has congregated and adapted in its wake. Facing the thrilling waterway and raised off the ground, one of the seven large en-suite canvas-and-thatched rooms will be your home during your stay.

Views extend outwards and are exceptional throughout camp, from the thatched dining area and plunge pool to the large viewing deck with fire pit.

  • Activities on offer include:
  • Day and night game drives
  • Guided walks (on request)
  • Seasonal boating & canoeing

Nearby platforms and hides also present excellent wildlife opportunities. With front row seats on this sporadic and unusual watercourse, an extraordinary once-in-a-lifetime experience awaits you.

About Savuti Camp
Savuti Camp is located right on the once-dry Savute Channel, to which abundant game has returned ever since it became a deep, clear waterway again: it is now home to hippo and aquatic life with myriad water birds.

This intimate camp's en-suite accommodation is in seven large walk-in tents that are raised off the ground and face onto the Channel. From the camp's thatched dining area, a plunge pool and large viewing area with fire pit extend outwards on raised wooden decks, providing a wonderful view of the water and its wildlife.

Day 6 & 7: Toka Leya Camp
Toka Leya Camp
Meals Included:  B, L, D
Overnight: Toka Leya Camp

The morning of Day 6, you will depart from Chobe via light aircraft en route for Livingstone Airport in Zambia (with a quick stop in Kasane in order to officially “exit” Botswana).

Upon arrival in Livingstone, you will be met by a Wilderness Safaris representative who will transfer you to Toka Leya Camp, a short drive away. Set on the western sector of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Toka Leya Camp perches on the banks of the precipitating Zambezi River.

Only 7 miles upstream from the world-renowned Victoria Falls, the camp is well placed for you to explore the scenic and vibrant region. Limiting our footprint on this pristine land, wooden walkways snake between the 12 spacious en-suite safari-style tents.

You will feel safe and comfortable in your tastefully decorated room with an expansive wooden deck looking out at the mighty river – often presenting the sight of rambling elephants, grunting pods of hippo and idle crocodiles.

Under a canopy of shady trees, the camp's dining, lounge and bar areas offer ample space for you to relax, complete with an infinity pool. You may choose to take part in 2 scheduled activities per day, including a:

  • River cruise
  • Game drive
  • Livingstone town & museum excursion
  • Catch-and-release fishing
  • Tour of Victoria Falls on the Zambia side
  • Visit to local village

About Toka Leya Camp
Toka Leya Camp comprises 12 spacious en-suite safari-style tents (including 3 family tents) with expansive views of the swift-flowing Zambezi River and several islands.
