Experience B.C. on a vacation in Whistler!

Step into a postcard as you hike, bike, paddle and dine in one of Canada’s hottest vacation destinations: Whistler. Hike old-growth hemlock rainforests in Cheakamus Lake Provincial Park, marveling at the girth of massive cedar stumps from logging days past. Bike quiet trails through wildflower meadows in Whistler Valley and quiet pathways around the local lakes. Tackle the rapids on the mighty Elaho River and hike into the Callaghan Valley to Alexander Falls. Ride the gondola to the top of Whistler Mountain before trekking the last 1,000 vertical feet to the summit for jaw-dropping panoramas of alpine lakes, wildflower meadows and glacier-covered peaks. Enjoy a lunch at the base of Matier Glacier and (if you’re feeling courageous) take a dip in one of three Joffre Lakes, whose glacier-fed waters are as pristine as they come. By night, unwind with a scenic sunset drive along the Sea to Sky highway, a well-earned meal at one of Whistler’s tastiest restaurants and a restful night’s sleep in the comfort of your carefully selected lodge.

About
This Tour

Whistler wows with wildflowers, whitewater, wilderness, and wildlife... say that five times fast! From budding naturalists to experienced explorers, Austin Adventures' six-day Whistler adventure is oodles of fun for everyone. Join us in one of North America's most treasured destinations as we uncover the secrets behind British Columbia's rich history, fascinating flora and fauna and of course those humbling glaciers looming overhead.

  • Hike through massive cedars and hemlock rainforest in Cheakamus Lake Provincial Park
  • Bike backroads and quiet trails through Whistler Valley and around Lost, Alta and Green Lakes
  • Raft a scenic section of the Elaho River and enjoy a riverside barbecue and drive at sunset along the Sea to Sky Highway
  • Ride the gondola to the top of Whistler Mountain and trek the last 1,000 feet to the summit for 360-degree mountain, glacier and meadow views
  • Opt for a bike ride, zip lining, exploring on your own or a spa evening in Whistler during a night on your own
  • Unwind with a well-earned meal at one of our favorite restaurants and a restful night's sleep in the comfort of the Legends Lodge

This was one of the best trips we have ever taken. We worked hard, had a lot of fun, and were well rewarded throughout the day. The small group life allowed us to go at our own pace and really enjoy the trip. All the little 'extras' really made it great.

Laura R Horsham, PA

Fine trip for an active family and activities and food perfect for us-highly recommended trip!
