Tour Itinerary

6 days/5 nights

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg (LUX)

Day 1: Trier
Trier
Meals Included:  L, D
Overnight: Hotel Eurener Hof

We meet in the morning in the town of Luxembourg. After a short transfer, saddle up in Diekirch, following the Sûre and Mosel rivers via the old monastic town of Echternach to your comfortable hotel in the imperial 2,000-year-old Roman City of Trier. Then feast on hearty local specialties tonight!

Day 2: Neumagen
Meals Included:  B, D
Overnight: Hotel Lekker

Before leaving Trier, be sure to visit some of the town's many historic sites. Roman statues line your bike route and point the way to the historic wine town, Neumagen. Feel free to linger over Roman ruins and reconstructed villas, or stop in picturesque towns like Trittenheim before arriving at your charming hotel. Neumagen produces a variety of award-winning wines and you'll get to enjoy an exceptional wine tasting before dinner. After a wonderful meal at your hotel, relax in your room for the rest of the night.

Day 3: Zeltingen
Meals Included:  B, L, D
Overnight: Hotel St-Stephanus

Start the day with a guided walking tour along Neumagen's old streets, accompanied by your entertaining local historian. Walk on the ancient Roman Road, discover countless artifacts and architectural treasures, and enjoy a rare opportunity to tour the magnificent gardens that grace this area. After the walk, today's picturesque bike ride leads to historic Piesport and bustling Bernkastel. A more challenging side trip travels uphill for spectacular views of the valley and villages below. It's worth the climb! Tonight you'll have lovely riverside views from your hotel in the resort town Zeltingen. Dine in style at your hotel’s gourmet restaurant tonight

Day 4: Cochem
Meals Included:  B
Overnight: Hotel Kessler-Meyer

Following the Mosel as it loops and bends, you'll pass busy river towns with plenty of shopping, snacking, and wine tasting. Between towns, the cycling is relaxing and the scenery is lush, green, and delightful.
