Bucolic countryside and fairytale woodlands invite you to savor the unique flavors of one of Europe's most esteemed cycling destinations. Sample local favorites like Belgian french fries and spicy sauce Américaine paired with a zesty, refreshing Belgian-style ale as you create enchanting memories to last a lifetime.

  • Pedal amidst traditional Dutch windmills in Middelburg, famed for its onion-domed bell tower and Gothic town hall
  • Ferry to Breskens and ride along the dunes of the North Sea coast to the lively beach resort of Cadzand-Bad
  • Explore the famous Flemish art museums of Bruges and bike along canals animated with swans in the village’s medieval center
  • Coast through castle-clad forests around Hertsberge, following the Leie River as it snakes lazily through rich green meadows in Deinze

Tour Itinerary

Brussels, Belgium (BRU)

Day 1: Middelburg
Meals Included:  L, D
Overnight: Hotel de Nieuwe Doelen

We meet in the morning in Brussels. Today you will travel to medieval Middelburg, Holland. Savor a bicycle ride amid traditional Dutch windmills and choose to walk around the quaint town center with its onion-domed bell tower and Gothic town hall. Enjoy a group lunch together before finishing your bike ride. Restaurant Peper en Zout will serve the group an amazing dinner tonight

Day 2: Middelburg
Meals Included:  B, D
Overnight: Overnight at Hotel de Nieuwe Doelen

Saddle up for another amazing bike ride today as ancient trade routes lead you past modern windmills, then point west to the coast. Explore the lively beach resorts in Zoutelande and Dishoek and stroll the seaside boulevard in Vlissingen before returning on canal bike paths to Middelburg.

Day 3: Bruges
Meals Included:  B,D
Overnight: Hotel Navarra

Enjoy a warm breakfast before pedaling through the quaint towns of Cadzand, Sluis and Damme on your way to Bruges. Be sure to visit many of the historical monuments and classic architecture that Damme has to offer. Tasting some of the best beer in the world will be the perfect treat at the end of your ride before trying the delicious cuisine of a new town together tonight

Day 4: Bruges
Meals Included:  B
Overnight: Hotel Navarra

Spend today exploring Bruges' historic gothic tower and magnificent art collections or take a delightful bike ride south of town. We'll bicycle through the woods on a converted railroad bed, passing castles and stately homes built when Bruges was the wealthy cloth capital of Europe. Later, relax while you explore more of Bruges on a canal cruise. Why not visit the Chocolate Museum before shopping in one of the 30+ chocolate stores! Tonight, take advantage of a night on your own to explore the town and dine at one of Bruges' many mouthwatering restaurants

Day 5: Ghent
Meals Included:  B, L, D
Overnight: NH Hotel Ghent Belfort

Bike along canals through woodlands, by castle estates and the Vlaendern windmill. We'll follow its gentle flow, passing through green meadows and tiny villages as we head toward Ghent. Along the way, we'll stop at the old abbey Drongengoedhoeve and the provincial town of Zomergem. In Ghent, be sure to visit St. Bavo church and the renowned Ghent altarpiece. Share memories and reflect on your trip as the group has a farewell dinner at a restaurant frequented by the locals

Day 6: Ghent
Meals Included:  B
Overnight: No Overnight

On your last morning, your guide will transfer you to Brussels at the appropriate time according to your departure flight home. Enjoy the scenery one last time as you relax on your hour and a half transfer.
