The National Parks Service Turns 100!
2016 marks the centennial anniversary of the National Parks Service (NPS) in the U.S. For a whole year, the NPS
and the National Park Foundation (NPF) are celebrating those plots of land and monuments preserved and protected as national treasures. Everyone from Michelle Obama to Joseph Gordon-Levitt has stepped up to support the Find Your Park campaign, and here at Austin Adventures, we’re honored to play our role, as well.
4th graders travel FREE in 2016
To celebrate the NPS turning 100, the NPF and the White House have teamed up to launch the Every Kid in the Park initiative, which will offer every 4th grade student across the country free access to our National Parks throughout the 2015-2016 school year. As advocates of this program, Austin Adventures is thrilled to provide our own young adventurers the special privilege of traveling free in 2016. That’s right, book a tour for four, and your 4th grader’s trip fee is waived! What better excuse to get your kids off of the couch and into the great outdoors? Whichever National Park adventure you choose, the opportunity to play, to explore, and to learn are endless.
Let us help you Find Your Park
Spend a week in Yellowstone’s untouristed backcountry. Hike through hoodoo rock
formations in Bryce/Zion. Ride horses in Yosemite, raft Glacier’s Flathead River, and kayak with whales and sea otters off the Kenai Peninsula. At Austin Adventures, National Parks are what we do best. Our homegrown guides have been leading small groups through America’s – most pristine and protected lands for decades. Combine our legacy with Xanterra’s – who first guided guests to the Grand Canyon in 1901 – and you can rest assured: when it comes to behind-the-scenes access and insider’s knowledge, our National Parks experience is simply unbeatable.
Please note: Offer applies to new reservations only on select vacations. Savings cannot be combined with any other offer, including our Book 10, you go free program. Offer is based on 3 paying guests and qualifying children must be in the 4th grade during 2015 – 2016 academic year or equivalent. We reserve the right to correct errors.
