With the Swiss Alps as your backdrop, spend 7 days and 6 nights basking in the glory of some of Europe’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Hike near the storied Swiss mountain towns of Davos and St. Moritz. Discover the Middle Earth museum complete with a Hobbit hole, in the wine-making village of Jenins. Sail mostly downhill on bike rides along the Walensee, and through the Rhine River Valley. Ride the efficient Swiss trains through the UNESCO world heritage route through Chur, Bergün, and St. Moritz. Switzerland is sure to dazzle you with this epic Swiss Alp Adventure. Divided into three regions, the Swiss Alps inhabit the South and fade into the Swiss Plateau, while the Jura mountain range lies along the northwest French border. Visit Europe’s most powerful waterfall, Rhine Falls, which is located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

After departing Zurich, you’ll be whisked away into the stunning village of Obstalden along the jaw-dropping Walensee. You’ll have nothing but smiles as you ride along the lake taking in the scenery of the Swiss Alps. Stop lakeside in the village of Walenstadt for a lunch with 360-degree views. Feel like a king in a castle at the Hotel Schloss Ragaz, as we have a welcome feast.
Take the train to Unterterzen, then ascend the cableway to Flumserberg where adventures are awaiting. We’ll start with a short hike around Flumserberg to enjoy the crisp alpine air, later stopping for lunch at the mountain hut Maschgalugge. Flumserberg has a ropes course for a mountain coaster (called flumser), and possibilities for paragliding (not included in the trip price and weather dependent).
This morning, embark on an unforgettable train journey through the UNESCO world heritage route of Chur, through Bergen, ending in St Moritz. Mesmerizing scenery is a bound on one of the most scenic railways anywhere. This afternoon, some free time to walk around the St. Moritzersee, or to explore the Mountain village itself with its stone laden streets and boutique shops. This evening a memorable dinner lakeside.
Experience the thrill of a Via Ferrata, where you are safely attached to a fixed cable, with metal rungs, pegs, and ladders for assistance which allows for a simple and safe way to experience rock climbing. The views of the Alps draped with glaciers, are truly breathtaking when experienced from the heights of a Via Ferrata. This evening unwind at the hotel after a memorable day in the Alps, or decide to take a stroll to do some star gazing after dinner on your own.
Enjoy a lavish breakfast before embarking on another unbelievable train ride through the Alps. After arriving in Davos it’s a tough choice; a stunning mountaintop hiking exploration above the charming village, or downtime at the therapeutic Spa hotel. Tonight we’ll regroup for a fondue dinner at a local favorite.
A short train ride to Klosters where we start an epic downhill bike ride through the stunning Rhine river valley. Pass by vineyards and mountain peaks on your way to visit the Greisinger Museum, a modern-day shrine to “Middle Earth”, complete with a hobbit hole. Make your way back to the Thermal town of Bad Ragaz to enjoy another night in the Castle and a final dinner.
After breakfast, a scenic transfer takes you to Zurich where you will be dropped off wherever you please – at your hotel, the airport, or the train station.

Arrival & Departure
Prior to the trip, arrive at your own convenience in Zurich Switzerland.
On Day 1, we will meet you in the lobby of the Engimatt City-Garden hotel at 8:30 a.m. After a transfer of 1 hour, the biking will begin.
After breakfast on Day 7, we take you to the airport, train station, or the hotel of your choice in Zurich (1.5-hour transfer).

Unwind in the thermal bath town of Bad Ragaz after a day of downhill bike riding through the castle-strewn countryside of the Rhine river valley. Coast down a mountain in style on a “flumser”, or take to the Alpine air on a tandem paragliding journey. Switzerland is bursting at the seams with adventures!

After receiving your reservation and deposit, we’ll send you a pre-trip planner with general information about the area you’ll be visiting, a packing list, exercise guidelines, a guest information questionnaire, and a liability release agreement for you to sign and return within 10 days.
