Commission and Incentives

Travel Agent Commission Structure

We pay a base commission of 12% of our published trip price on all agency bookings (that’s each adult or child you book on an adventure). Half of your commission will be paid at the time of booking, no matter when the trip takes place! Prior to any commissions being paid, all agencies must be set up as a vendor, which includes submitting a W-9. All first-time advisors will need to provide a W-9 to accounts payable before commission can be paid.

Booking bonuses include:

  • 1-20 Bookings per year: 12% Commission
  • 21-50 Bookings per year: 14% Commission
  • 50+ Bookings per year: 16% Commission

Commissions on Trips Booked by Guests Directly with Austin Adventures

If your client had an amazing time on our trip (chances are they did) and calls us directly to book another adventure, we’ll gladly pay you commission for their booking. Our only requirements are that the client approves, and you take over the reservation within 30 days of the guest’s date of deposit.

Once you call us, we finalize the details of the trip directly with you and your client. We promise professional, personalized service from the initial inquiry to the final farewells.

If at any point your client is dissatisfied, we will work extremely hard to correct any issues and exceed your expectations. Should your client feel that we have failed to deliver on our promise, their next trip with Austin Adventures is complimentary. We know that trust is important in this business — we want your client to trust you, and in turn, us.

In-Depth Training and Support

Austin Adventures will gladly teach you (and any others in your agency) about our product line, and the advantages and opportunities of selling adventure travel in general. If your client has questions, we’re happy to set up a three-way call: you, them, and one of our experienced travel consultants. Our Marketing team has images and ads available to help you promote tours and destinations on your own website and email marketing. We can also host a webinar to help introduce your team and customers to the Austin Adventures brand of travel.

Agent Protection

You work hard for clients and deserve to keep them. We respect your Agent/Client relationships and will inform you if a past client returns to us directly.

Cancellation Policy and Refund

The following cancellation policies and fees apply:

*Note that some International Policies may vary – please inquire for details.

Cancellation 91 days or more before trip departure – Full trip payment refunded less a $300 per person administration fee (fees may vary for international travel).

Cancellation 90 – 61 days before trip departure – Full trip payment less 25% of your published trip price (per person) is refunded.

Cancellation 60 – 31 days before trip departure – 50% of the trip payment is refunded.

Cancellation 30 – 0 days before trip departure – No refund is given.
