I am 100% on board with this thought process! I am going to believe with all my heart that 2020 has indeed ended and start looking forward to an amazing 2021. Yes that starts with a few resolutions and yes at least a few of those have something to do with weight and/or exercise (that Mexican Christmas food really did me in…more on that in the next paragraph). But more importantly I am really going to think about the year we essentially lost with 2020. I am committed to taking nothing for granted, to live stronger, laugh harder, and love deeper.
After everything the world has been through the last year, we sincerely hope you were able to get creative and celebrate the holidays safely with loved ones in whichever way you chose. The Austin family had a special travel-related Christmas celebration: Since we couldn’t travel to Mexico this year, we brought Mexico to our house. We transformed the garage into a properly socially-distanced Mexican Cantina for Christmas dinner! Our make-believe paradise turned out incredible. Check it out here! Remember I mentioned we are heading to Baja this April as a family (our first trip in over a year)! We look forward to finally experiencing that true escape in an exotic southern land.
Should be no surprise to anyone that travel will be a big part of what we do to live our best lives, whether that’s now or in the near future. If 2020 taught me anything it is to never ever take the gift of travel for granted. It is a privilege, not a right, and can be curtailed at any time. I can’t be the one to tell you when it will be right for you and yours to travel again. I can only assure you that when you are ready, we will be here to help get you on your way. In the meantime you can start brainstorming, get something on the books to look forward to this year or the next. Heaven forbid you have to cancel or postpone yet again, but if you do, we will stick by you and make it all as easy and painless as possible. Check out our relaxed booking policies that are now extended to March 31, 2021! And remember you can always call me personally and I can work through any challenge with you.
That’s about enough for today. I’ll always be saying it: THANK YOU. Thank you for all the support in good times and in bad. Here is to an amazing 2021 and hoping we cross paths, share trails, and create lasting memories together.
P.S. In case you are just not ready to commit to travel in 2021 we are releasing our list of 22 Adventures for 2022… Never hurts to get ahead on planning. You can get a sneak peek here.
Namaste my friends, namaste,
