The Best S'mores Recipe
S’more Just got Better!

The first published recipe for “some mores” was in a 1927 publication called Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts. Loretta Scott Crew, who made them for Girl Scouts by the campfire, is given credit for the recipe. Over the years families have added their own takes on the treat that is loved among all ages. This week we invited you to enjoy our favorite version, with all the classic flavors of traditional s’mores…but without all the mess! These portable s’mores are perfect for active outdoor vacations!

  • 1 bag chocolate chips (or any flavor you want)
  • 1 bag marshmallows
  • 1 box cake or sugar cones
  • aluminum foil

1. Put about 1 tsp of chocolate chips at the bottom of the cone
2. Then put a layer of marshmallows on top of the chocolate chips
3. Keep layering until you get to the top of the cone
4. Wrap the cone in foil
5. Heat foil-wrapped cone over the fire until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. About 3-5 minutes
