Alisa was born in Great Falls, MT, raised in Albuquerque, NM and has always had a love for the outdoors. She spent her summers at girl scout camp and going on road trips with her family all throughout the Rocky Mountains. She fell in love with Montana at a young age and always dreamed of living in Glacier National Park. She turned her childhood dream into a reality when she was eighteen.
She spent nine summers working at the Swift Current Motor Inn and exploring the park both off and on the trails. She found Big Sky Montana and made that her winter paradise. After fifteen years working in Food and Beverage, she had a revelation while rafting the Grand Canyon, and decided she wanted to be outside every day. Since then she has spent the last three summers as a White Water raft guide, and her winters skiing daily while being a lift foreman at a private ski resort. When not working she can be found traveling and exploring. She has been to Nepal twice to dedicate her time to a small orphanage. Besides being a world traveler she has road tripped everywhere west of the Mississippi and has a deep love of the Southwest. Her motto is: Live the Life you Love and Love the Life you Live!
