Chris Williams

I was born and raised in Tennessee where I developed an interest in the outdoors, specifically the mountains of the western United States. I traveled via bus at 15 for the first time to Cody, WY where I spent all summer hiking and horse backing every trail within 50 miles. Obviously. I was instantly hooked!!!
After graduating I was on my way back to Cody the following day. My next 25 years were spent primarily as a nomad, traveling between WY, MT, WA, OR, and AK, exploring as much of the outdoors as the NW has to offer.

Between personal travels, I have continued my education focusing on Forestry and Outdoor Recreation and Leadership. I arranged outdoor activities on the inside passage of Alaska for an adventure cruise line, and most recently have managed an outdoor adventure company based out of Yellowstone.
I have planned, implemented, and guided a large assortment of adventures including, but not limited to: Guided hikes, sightseeing, plane tours, ORV tours, Wild Mustang Tours, Yellowstone Adventures, ghost town tours, Native American Cultural and Historic tours, rafting, kayaking, and more.
I recently took a few years to try out a career in law enforcement, yet find myself drawn back to the life and career I love, outdoor adventure.

I am extremely excited to be a part of Austin Adventures and look forward to meeting you for your next adventure.
