International Trip Guide
Born and raised in Mexico City, Hugo knew from an early age that he wanted to be an architect. In 2005, while searching for new challenges, Hugo moved to La Paz to study Alternative Tourism. He had the chance to work in different areas along the peninsula, as well as other regions of the country. From cultural preservation to nature conservation, Hugo specializes in the diversification of economic options using adventure, nature, or rural tourism activities as a strategy for small communities, which led him to his current role as a guide. Hugo also works on several sustainability development projects with his family, so he spends part of the year working at sea and the rest of the year in the mountains of Mexico.
