Jeremy grew up with an appreciation for the outdoors at a very young age. His parents loved to take him and his sister on camping and canoeing trips since as long as he can remember. He currently lives in Whitefish, Montana, where he takes full advantage of the recreational opportunities this area has to offer. He is an avid skier in the winter and avid hiker with an affinity for peak bagging in the summer. He also enjoys volunteering for the local search and rescue organization, where he gets to combine his passion for helping others in the Flathead Valley with exploring his local wilderness areas. Guiding provides the opportunity for Jeremy to share his love and knowledge for the outdoors with an infectious quality. He has a passion for travel, exploring new places, and soaking up the culture in new environments. One of his favorite quotes from author Edward Abbey is, “Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit.”, which resonates with Jeremy’s own philosophy in life.
