Where I grew up…

My history begins in Fort Polk Louisiana, we then moved to South Korea where my family was stationed in the Army. We lived about 30 miles north of Seoul and very close to my Korean grandmother. Although I was very young and don’t remember much I’m sure that’s where my sense of adventure began. My mother is from Montana and once the excitement of the Army ended we settled in Helena. This is where I realized I had a strong love for nature and the planet and knew I had to contribute to its longevity.

Experiences that lead me into adventure travel…

While going to school at Capital High School I found a volunteer program called the Montana Conservation Corps. It was a month-long program where I camped, traveled to neighboring towns, and did trail work. I then found a short gig surveying for toads and frogs, and from there I realized that I became the best version of myself; in nature. I started to attract a community of like-minded people; we would casually hike the trails around Helena and it all escalated from there. After high school, I moved to Bozeman and started going on major backpacking trips, rock climbing endeavors, mountain and road biking, and floating on the nearby rivers.

Favorite Activities…

My favorite activities are backpacking, canyoneering, and road biking! I could do these sports every day forever! I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Places I’ve traveled…

A couple years ago I traveled to Aruba and loved the ocean and sandy beaches. This past year I traveled to Spain, Italy, Amsterdam, and Paris! Spain being very special due to a road biking tour through the Andalucía region and stopping for a quick café con leche in the small towns that dot the countryside. I’ve also visited Glacier, the Tetons, Yellowstone, Crazy Mountain range, and also the Absoraka area.
