Stephen is originally from northern California but has moved and lived all over the United States and currently resides in Oregon. He is regularly making road trips into national parks, chasing powder or searching for swell. He is always on the move.
With a passion for the outdoors also comes an appetite, Stephen has spent 10 years in the culinary world developing his palate. Did someone say wood burned pizzas, craft beer, and ice cream? Nothing like great activities and good food to round out an ideal day!
What was your favorite vacation?
I left Washington D.C. and went on a 20,000-mile road trip. I focused on hitting less visited National Parks and destinations which took a little more effort to arrive at. It truly is all about the journey and not the destination.
What’s your favorite hike?
Grinnell Glacier in Glacier National Park.
What’s your favorite bike ride?
Riding Downtown on 5th Ave in New York City and then taking the Brooklyn Bridge over. There is so much going on in those few miles it could entertain for a lifetime.
Endless Summer (this is probably what really made me want to see the world)

When did you first catch the travel bug?
As far back as I can remember I have always been on the move. One of my earliest memories was sitting passenger in a pick-up with the window down and the hot summer air rushing into my face, the road was long and straight going on for miles, the destination was unknown but the journey had begun.
What are your hobbies?
Lately I have really been pursuing the snow and ocean with backcountry snowboarding and surfing. Water is everything!
